Fur Europe looks forward to a balanced debate during Intergroup on Animal Welfare meeting

News - November 26, 2015 - The European Parliament’s (EP) Intergroup on the welfare and Conservation of Animals hosts today a meeting focused on fur farming in Strasbourg. Fur Europe, the umbrella organisation representing the European fur sector, will join the meeting to answer any question posed on fur farming and animal welfare in Europe.

Dutch fur farmers to appeal court decision

News - November 11, 2015 - Dutch mink farmers will appeal the Dutch appeal Court's decision to reintroduce a ban on mink farming. The court found it justified to ban the business of mink farming without offering compensation, but the Dutch farmers are willing to go all the way to the European Court of Human Rights.
