14 May 2016: Open Farms in Romania

The pan-European open farm scheme is designed to do away with myths and prejudices about fur farming in Europe. On Saturday the Romanian public can see the conditions with they own eyes on eight different fur farms.

On Saturday 14 May, Romanian Chinchilla Breeders’ Association open the doors to eight chinchilla farms across the country and invites the public inside on Saturday 8 May. National Open Farm schemes are reoccurring events in the European fur sector, and the scheme is designed to do away with myths and prejudices about the European fur sector by allowing the public to see the conditions with their own eyes.

Across Romania chinchilla farms will be open to the public Saturday 14 May.
